There are many wonderful gardens to visit with the regional RHS centre at Rosemoor being the most prestigious. Yellow Book gardens are dotted about and keen photograhers will do well to bring their cameras (don't forget a macro lens!)
North Devon is well served for lovers of fine food. The Rock Inn has an exellent reputation locally and is a 2 min walk down the lane. A two mile walk will find you in Croyde where you can sample a wide range of atmospheres and styles. There are numerous surf schools for those keen to try a new skill or move up a notch or two. We will happily advise about the best places to eat nearby.
